Pastor - Dr. Ken Waldrup
Dr. Ken Waldrup has served as the pastor of White Oak since December of 2022. He is a graduate of Brewton-Parker College with a Bachelor of Ministry, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity, and holds a Doctorate of Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in many different ministry settings including youth ministry, teaching, and church leadership. He also serves as a hospital chaplain at City of Hope Atlanta. Ken lives in Sharpsburg with his wife, Anna, and their two children.
Minister of Music - Sammy Tew
Sammy Tew has served in churches in Georgia and Florida for over 40 years as music and youth minister. He has been at White Oak First Baptist since 2002 as music minister. Sammy attended Truett-McConnell College as a music major. He has also been employed with Chick- fil-a for over 20 years at the original Dwarf House. Sammy and his wife Melinda live in Sharpsburg. They have 2 daughters, a son-in-law, and 5 grandchildren.
